Pretty good spot for a runaround!
I gave the dog park a solid sniff test and marked it pawproved. 🐾
There was some shade (not heaps), and the ground was a little muddy the day we went — but that didn’t stop me!
The dog agility equipment was the real treat: I jumped, climbed, and zipped through like a pro. 💪 Meanwhile, Luna… well, let’s just say she had her own ideas and wasn’t quite as enthusiastic. Typical. 😆
We had it mostly to ourselves, and it was a fun little stop on our Dayboro adventure. 🐕🌳
👤 Human Highlights
Mervyn Kenman Park is a dedicated dog space just off the main road in Dayboro. It’s clearly built with pups in mind — two fully fenced off-leash area, some agility equipment, and enough space for a decent chase or two.
The shade is limited though, so it can get pretty hot, and the terrain can get muddy after a bit of rain.
There’s not a whole lot for the humans — no picnic tables, no toilets, and no nearby cafés or shops within walking distance, so you’ll want to bring your own coffee or supplies.
That said, it’s a solid spot if you’re driving through and your dog needs to burn off some energy.

It’s great for a quick pit stop with active dogs — just bring water, coffee, and a towel for muddy paws!
