🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective
Luna was absolutely over the moon. A whole theme park named after her!
Roller coasters, flashing lights, music pumping, and hoomans screaming with joy — honestly, I loved that part.
Luna, however, prefers excitement delivered in a calm, orderly, and well-managed manner.
Still, we both agreed the tunes and atmosphere outside were pawsome.
Lots to see, lots to hear, and plenty of excitement without even stepping inside.

🐶 Luna’s Lowdown
They named a theme park after me! This is objectively excellent branding.
While pups are not permitted inside (an oversight, in my view), the external experience remains highly satisfactory.
Visual impact is strong. Auditory feedback confirms sustained levels of enjoyment within the park.
Ralph is jealous, as it wasn’t called “Ralph Park”. I consider that reasonable.
Overall assessment: emotionally affirming, operationally loud, access regrettably restricted.

👤 Human Highlights
Nestled in the heart of St Kilda, Luna Park is one of Melbourne’s most iconic and recognisable attractions.
Even if you’re not planning to go on the rides, the famous entrance, historic roller coaster, and constant buzz of laughter and excited screams make it a fun and lively stop.
While dogs aren’t allowed inside the park, it’s still a great spot to pause for photos, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy the surrounding St Kilda energy.
If you’re planning a full visit with rides, it’s best to leave pups at home. For a quick snap and a listen to the joyful chaos from outside, though, it’s absolutely worth including on your walk.

Pro Tip
If you’re visiting with a dog, stop by for photos and atmosphere only — then continue your adventure along the St Kilda foreshore or nearby cafés where pups are welcome.
