The signs don’t lie: Tall Trees? ✅ Park Hollow? ✅ Gum View? ✅
All present and accounted for. I did a full perimeter sniff-check. Standard walking loop, decent smells, and enough space to stretch the legs without being interrupted every two steps by a scooter.
It’s strictly on-lead, which is fine — not every outing has to be a free-for-all. A few overgrown patches made things slightly unpredictable, but nothing I couldn’t handle.
And for the record, I did spot a few ducks. I gave them a warning glance. They quacked and moved on.

Ivadale Lake is an on-lead, dog-friendly space hidden in the middle of Mountain Creek.
You’ll find a network of footpaths winding around a peaceful lake and through quiet residential streets. It’s a relaxed suburban walk — ideal for a quick morning loop or an after-dinner stroll.
There’s a kids’ playground and some basic gym equipment along the way. Some parts of the track were a little overgrown on our visit, so bring sensible shoes and expect a bit of natural charm (read: not perfectly manicured).
Don’t expect hustle and bustle — this is a low-key neighbourhood vibe, and that’s kind of the charm.

Loop around the lake just before sunset for a peaceful stroll — and bring mozzie spray if you’re staying long.
