🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective
Now this is my kind of adventure!
So many new smells, ocean breezes, and colourful rocks to sniff (apparently they’re “art,” but I think they’d make great marking spots). 🐾
There were heaps of other dogs out for walks, so plenty of chances to say hello and show off my best tail wag.
The hoomans couldn’t stop pointing and cheering about whales splashing their tails out at sea — I didn’t see them myself, but I definitely caught that salty scent in the air.
Between the waves, the wind, and all the painted rocks, it was a morning full of sniffs, sights, and smiles.

👤 Human Highlights
The V-Wall and Pilot’s Lookout is one of Nambucca Heads’ true gems — a stunning blend of ocean, river, and art.
The walk along the V-Wall offers breathtaking coastal views, with vibrant hand-painted rocks lining the path and telling stories from locals and travellers alike.
The nearby Pilot’s Lookout provides panoramic views across the river mouth and out to the deep blue — and if you’re lucky, you might even spot whales breaching or slapping their tails during migration season.
It’s an easy, scenic walk perfect for early mornings or sunset strolls, and ideal for both two-legged and four-legged explorers.

Pro Tip
Bring your camera and time your walk for sunrise or whale season — it’s when Nambucca Heads truly shines.
