🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective
This place is barking with activity! Tickle Park is like the Coolum community’s backyard – I saw people having picnics, sizzling sausages on the BBQs, and kids running wild on the playground.
It’s not a spot for zoomies (too many people for that), but it is a pawsome gateway to the beach.
Lots of good smells, friendly hoomans, and plenty to look at.
I stayed on-leash (park rules, grumble grumble), but I didn’t mind – there was too much happening to be bored. Plus, I knew a splash in the surf was just a short walk away. 🐶🌊

Tickle Park is truly the heartbeat of Coolum. Located right at the beach’s edge and adjacent to the main shopping strip, it’s an ideal location to relax before or after a beach visit.
The park features shaded picnic spots, electric BBQs, public toilets, and plenty of open space for families.
While dogs must stay on-leash in the park, it’s a convenient and social place to take a break, meet other pet owners, and soak in that coastal energy.
The playground and facilities make it especially family-friendly, and with Coolum Surf Club and beach access just steps away, you’re in the centre of it all.
