🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective
Ohhh boy, if you’re a dog who loves a good sniff and lots of space, Pegasus Horse Park is what dreams are made of! 🐶✨
I had the absolute BEST time meeting Toby, the resident farm dog who was super friendly and showed me around all the best sniff-spots.
We didn’t stop wagging our tails the whole time! There’s so much open space to roam and adventure — grass paddocks, trees, and all sorts of farm smells floating in the breeze. 🌾🐕
Now, it’s not fenced in (boo, said no dog ever) so I had to stay on leash outside to make sure I didn’t go chasing after any wayward smells or sneaky wildlife.
Honestly though, with my hoomans close by and so much to see and sniff, I didn’t mind. Plus, there’s a cosy firepit where I could curl up and snooze while they roasted marshmallows. 🍡🔥 #FarmDogLife
There’s something really special about being out in the fresh country air, feeling the soft grass under your paws, and watching the sunset light up the sky in gold and pink.
Luna and I agreed — this was one of our favourite farm stays ever! 🐾🌅

👤 Human Highlights
If you’re on the lookout for dog-friendly accommodation around Yeppoon, Rockhampton, Pegasus Horse Park offers a unique and peaceful option that’s a little bit different to your typical hotel or caravan park. 🏡✨
The accommodation itself is a converted shed/granny flat located behind the main property. It’s cosy, simple, and has everything you need for a couple of nights away:
✔️ Full kitchen (great for home-cooked meals after a long day exploring)
✔️ Access to a washing machine (because muddy paws happen!)
✔️ Comfortable bed and living space
✔️ Quiet, serene surroundings far away from the hustle and bustle
It’s the kind of place where you can wake up to the sound of the farm and birds, sip your morning coffee while looking out over the paddocks, and breathe in the fresh country air. 🌿☕

There’s only one accommodation on site, which means no busy neighbours or packed spaces — just you, your doggo, and the great outdoors. It’s perfect if you’re looking for secluded pet-friendly accommodation in the Yeppoon area.
The host was super friendly and made check-in a breeze. The property was well maintained and it’s obvious a lot of care has been put into making it a relaxed and welcoming place for guests (both human and furry ones). 🐶❤️
While it was clean and tidy, those who prefer a “hotel polish” might find it a little more rustic — but we loved the homely, down-to-earth vibe.
It truly felt like we had our own little farm for the weekend! 🐴🌻

Pro Tip
Pack your favourite groceries and enjoy the full kitchen facilities. It’s well-equipped and means you can whip up delicious meals without having to leave your peaceful country escape.
Bonus tip: don’t forget the marshmallows for a night by the firepit! 🍳🔥
