🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective

Paw yeah! Fisherman Beach was pawesome! 🐾

I had loads of space to zoom, splash, and sniff around – especially near the calm, shallow water (great for a mid-zoomie cool-off).

There were some shady spots under the trees when I needed a break, and even some fun rocks to climb and explore.

Just a heads up to fellow floofers: the sand can get a bit sticky, and there were a few twigs and mystery leaves that liked to hitch a ride in my fur.

But with hardly any other paws around, even near the drop-off point, I had plenty of room to stretch my legs and enjoy the island welcome!

👤 Human Highlights

A fantastic first stop on Great Keppel Island!

Just a short stroll from the ferry drop-off, Fisherman Beach offers calm, inviting waters perfect for a quick swim or a relaxed beach sit.

It’s close to the café and food area (ideal for grabbing a coffee or snack after the ferry ride), and it’s usually peaceful despite being near the main arrival point.

Ideal for families, sun-seekers, and – of course – furry adventurers.

Pro Tip

Bring a towel for a quick fur wipe – island sand and twigs love sticking around for the ride!
