๐ถ Ralphโs Pawspective
YAY. This is what I call a proper dog park. Big open space? Check. Agility equipment? Double check. And best of allโฆ no stray poops anywhere. Honestly, hoomans, round of ap-paws ๐๐ถ
From the moment I bolted through the gate, I knew this place meant business. Thereโs plenty of room to sprint at full zoomie speed, circle back, sprint again (very important), and still have space left over for a few dramatic victory laps. The agility equipment is a big win too โ perfect for jumping, balancing, weaving, and showing off a few tricks I pretend I only just learned.
The ground was clean, the grass was in good nick, and everything felt well looked after. No weird smells, no questionable corners, and no surprise โwhatโs that under my paw?โ moments. Just lots of happy dog energy and a park that clearly gets used and respected.
I could easily spend a solid chunk of the day here burning off energy, meeting new sniff-friends, and convincing hoomans I deserve an extra treat on the way out. Would run again.

๐ค Human Highlights
Kelly Reserve Dog Park is a well-presented, thoughtfully laid-out off-leash area that clearly benefits from regular maintenance and community pride. The park is clean, tidy, and inviting, with good fencing and clear sightlines across the space โ ideal for keeping an eye on energetic pups at play.
The agility equipment adds genuine value, offering both mental stimulation and physical exercise beyond simple off-leash running. Itโs a great inclusion for owners wanting to engage more actively with their dogs or help burn off excess energy.
While the open layout is excellent for visibility and movement, the park could benefit from a little more shade, particularly on warmer days. That said, the overall condition of the park more than makes up for it. Surfaces are well maintained, bins are available, and the space feels safe, functional, and welcoming.
Overall, this is a high-quality regional dog park that punches well above its weight.

Pro-Tip
Bring water and visit earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon to make the most of the space, especially on warmer days when shade is limited. Oh, and take your pup for a walk (on-lead) around the reserve, there’s some sniff-tastic adventures to be had.
