🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective
Dragonfly Café might just understand what a good doggo dining experience looks like.
First things first: outdoor seating. Plenty of space for a pup to settle in, supervise the footpath traffic, and keep an eye on passing snacks (purely for quality control, of course). Luna and I parked ourselves under the table while the hoomans got comfy.
But here’s where things really started looking up. The staff came out and brought me my very own water bowl. Not just a shared bowl hidden in the corner somewhere—no no—this one arrived right at our table like proper VIP service. I felt very important. Honestly, I could get used to this level of treatment.
While the hoomans were busy discussing brunch things, I conducted a thorough inspection of the surroundings. There were some very cool paintings nearby that gave the place a bit of personality. I’m not entirely sure what they meant artistically, but I’m fairly confident at least one of them captured the spirit of a dog waiting patiently for dropped food.
The whole setup made it easy for a pup like me to just chill under the table, enjoy the fresh air, and soak up the attention from friendly staff and curious hoomans walking past.
Outdoor seating, water bowls, friendly people… honestly, what more could a pup want?

👤 Human Highlights
Dragonfly Café is one of those places that clearly has a loyal local following. When we arrived, there was a steady stream of customers—locals catching up over coffee, brunch-goers settling in for a relaxed meal, and a welcoming neighbourhood vibe all around.
The café has a great outdoor dining setup, which works perfectly if you’re out and about with your dog. There’s plenty of space around the tables, making it easy for your pooch to settle underneath while you enjoy your meal.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the fact they brought water bowls out for the dogs without being asked was a really nice touch. It’s those little gestures that make a venue feel genuinely dog-friendly rather than just dog-tolerant.
The food and coffee were both solid—exactly what you want from a good brunch café. Fresh, tasty, and served without fuss.
Overall, Dragonfly Café feels like a proper local gem. Relaxed atmosphere, good food, friendly service, and a welcoming outdoor space where your dog can comfortably join you.
