I’M. ON. A. BOAT. 🐾⚓️
That’s right, hoomans – this pup set sail with Keppel Konnections and it was one heck of a salty sea dog adventure! I rode up top on the open deck with the wind in my fur, tail wagging, and Luna by my side. 🐕💨
Now, full disclosure – the trip over was a bit splashy (Luna ended up looking like a drowned rat, and not in a cute way 😆), but we powered through.
As doggos, we’re not allowed inside the cabin (understandable – we bring the party), so we chilled outside and held on tight.
But paws up to the amazing crew – one of the staff came over mid-voyage to give me a cuddle (instant BFF 💕).
Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and clearly used to having VIPs (Very Important Pups) on board.

Keppel Konnections made our day trip to Great Keppel Island a breeze.
Booking was quick and easy, there was ample parking right at the Keppel Bay Marina, and the check-in process was relatively seamless.
We bundled our trip as part of a package that included return ferry tickets and a delicious lunch at the Hideaway once we got to the island – super convenient and great value.
The boat trip itself was scenic and fun, giving us a beautiful view of the Capricorn Coast as we zipped across to the island.
