Bulcock Beach, Caloundra

Dog-Friendly Park Review – Pup-approved Summary

Whilst not a dog-friendly beach, Bulcock Beach foreshore is fantastic place to take your pup for a leisurely stroll. Bustling with excitement, lots of interesting smells, and close to all the action, your doggo will love it.

🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective (H2)

Bulcock Beach? More like Bull-dog Beach… because us doggos aren’t allowed to run free here!

The beach itself is off-limits for pups, and I had to stay on my leash the whole time.

But, sniff-wise? A+! with lots of sniffs and smells on the foreshore path.

So many exciting scents from the ocean breeze, fish and chips wafting from nearby cafés, and all the hooman foot traffic.

The views? Paw-some! Watching the boats float by was a treat, as was the seagulls… but if you want to stretch your paws properly, I’d suggest trotting down to Clarke Place Park instead.

👤 Human Highlights

Bulcock Beach is a stunner with golden sand, gentle waves, and a lifeguard-patrolled swimming area.

It’s right next to loads of cafes and shops, making it a great spot for a morning stroll or a bite to eat.

However, if you’re bringing your four-legged bestie, this isn’t the best beach for them—leashes are a must, and they can’t play on the sand.

Instead, take a short walk to Clarke Place Park, where pups can enjoy the green space and some dog-friendly fun!

Pro Tip

If your furry best mate wants to stretch their legs, skip the sandy paws struggle at Bulcock Beach and head just a few minutes down to Happy Valley and Clarke Place Park!
