🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective
Happy Valley and Clarke Place Park are like a dog’s dream come true! 🐾
With vast, open spaces, I can play to my heart’s content (provided I’m on my leash).
The dog-friendly beach is pawsitively the best part—splashing in the water, digging in the sand, and meeting fellow four-legged friends.

The beach is connected to Bribie Island, so there’s always a new scent to discover… just need to make sure we don’t accidently venture into the no-dog area as I hear rangers do check!
Just a heads-up, the tides can be a bit tricky, so it’s best to check before planning your beach adventures, but when we were there, there was lots and lots of sand to dig and walk across.

👤 Human Highlights
This spot is a haven for families and friends alike.
The park boasts ample grassy areas perfect for picnics, frisbee, or just lounging under the sun (or shade) with your doggo.
The newly renovated boat-shaped playground and the replica old Caloundra lighthouse with swings are delightful touches, especially for the little ones.
The views are nothing short of spectacular—gazing out at the Glasshouse Mountains and North Bribie Island offers a serene backdrop for any activity.

Speaking of Bribie Island, during low tide, you can walk across the sandbanks, but always be mindful of the changing tides and where the dog-friendly zone ends.
Weekends can get bustling, so arriving early ensures you secure a good spot and avoid the crowds.
Facilities like public toilets, BBQ areas, and a nearby food van serving coffee and snacks make it convenient for all visitors.

Pro Tip
Make sure to stick to the designated dog-friendly areas while at Happy Valley and Clarke Place Park! 🐾 While the beach and park are super pup-friendly, there are certain spots where dogs aren’t allowed. Keep an eye out for the signs so you and your doggo can roam safely without any surprises! 🌟
