🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective

Oh boy, this one’s a tail-wagger! 🐕 From the moment we stepped paw inside Little Sister, I knew this place was going to be something special.

The staff didn’t just allow dogs – they genuinely seemed excited to see me! 🥹

One of them came straight over and offered me a delicious little treat (which I graciously accepted, obviously). That’s how you make a good first impression. 🦴

While my hooman went up to order, I stood guard and politely let other guests know the table was taken. 😌 A few head tilts and strategic yawns usually do the trick – no barking necessary. The place was bustling with hoomans enjoying their coffees ☕, chatting, and tucking into their meals 🍳🥓… it was hard not to drool. 😋

The space was a little tight, especially when it’s busy, but that’s no problem for a pup like me with polite manners and a compact frame. I got a bowl of water too – nice and fresh 💧. They even sell gourmet dog treats inside! 🛍️ I did my best “feed me” face 🥺, but my hooman said something about not spoiling me too much. (Spoilsport.)

👤 Human Highlights

Little Sister Café is a local favourite in the heart of Golden Beach, and once you’ve been, it’s easy to see why.

Nestled just a short stroll from the waterfront, this laid-back café blends coastal charm with warm hospitality. It was absolutely humming when we arrived – every table was full, and there was a steady stream of customers ordering takeaway. If you’re planning to dine in, it’s best to get in early or be prepared to wait a little (or bring Ralph as your table-saving sidekick).

The staff were lovely – relaxed, cheerful, and very dog-friendly. They made a fuss of Ralph, which always earns extra points. Service was smooth and friendly, even during the busy morning rush.

As for the food – yum. I ordered the burger and chips, and it hit the spot. It was one of those meals that balances comfort and quality – nothing overcomplicated, just fresh, satisfying, and well-made. The chips were crispy, the burger was juicy, and everything was well portioned.

There’s limited seating inside, so most people opt for the outdoor tables. The vibe outside is casual and beachy, with just enough shade to keep everyone comfortable – including the four-legged customers. It’s an ideal place to refuel after a walk along the Golden Beach Esplanade .

With plenty of local charm, fantastic food, and a warm welcome for dogs, Little Sister is the kind of café you’ll find yourself coming back to. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a spot worth adding to your Sunshine Coast food map.
