Looking for a dog-friendly café in Stones Corner with charm and character? The Smug Fig offers outdoor dog-friendly seating, hearty breakfast options, and a relaxed local vibe. Located alongside a leafy nursery store and surrounded by dog-loving patrons, it’s a popular spot for Brisbane dog owners wanting a bite with their best mate. 🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective

Oh, I do love a good brunch outing, especially when it comes with bonus butt-sniffs from the passing pooch parade 🐶👃.

The Smug Fig is paw-sitively dog friendly (outside only, of course), and I got the prime footpath spot to show off my best “I’m a good boy” café pose while hoomans nibbled away. 🪴

There’s a lovely little nursery-style store next door full of green stuff I’m apparently not allowed to pee on (rude), and the vibe was busy and buzzy, just how I like it.

Honestly, I gave it four tail wags for people-watching alone. 🐾🐾🐾🐾

👤 Human Highlights

The Smug Fig has a great reputation locally, and it’s easy to see why.

The staff were welcoming and friendly even amidst the footpath hustle. We ordered the Big Breakie, and it lived up to its name, hearty, satisfying, and full of flavour. Just be prepared for prices that reflect the popularity.

On a crisp winter morning, it was a little frosty outside, no outdoor heaters where we were so it meant we kept our jackets on.

Seating was a bit tight due to the popular footpath setting, but the atmosphere was lively and relaxed.

The adjacent nursery space adds charm and a touch of calm amongst the urban buzz.

Pro Tip

Snag a seat early if you want a prime paw-patch, it fills up fast! And pack a warm coat in winter ❄️🧥.
