You’re not going to believe this… I went inside the pub. Yes. Inside. Like a proper gentleman dog.
I was instructed to remain on my absolute best behaviour, tucked neatly under the table. No wandering. No unsolicited meet-and-greets. Just quiet observation mode activated. And honestly? It was glorious.
From my undercover position, I had prime viewing of all the happenings — plates sailing past, laughter bouncing around the room, and the faint, delicious aroma of steak drifting through the air. I kept a hopeful eye on every approaching staff member in case one accidentally delivered a juicy ribeye to the wrong species. It didn’t happen… but a pup can dream.
All in all, it felt like a very refined country dining experience for a well-mannered floof.
