The Little Blue Wren Café 2.0 in Monto is tail-waggingly terrific. Luna and I plonked ourselves down in the leafy back garden and immediately felt like VIPups. There was loads of space for us to sprawl, sniff, and soak up the smells of bacon (which I was very interested in). And they even had water bowls for us!
The new hooman owners were as friendly as a sausage dog at a sausage sizzle – welcoming, warm, and didn’t mind us lounging about while our hoomans tucked into their feast. This spot gets a big paws up from me! 🌿🐾

The Little Blue Wren Café 2.0 is one of those rare finds – a charming little café attached to the Ridgey Plains Art Gallery, offering not just food, but a real slice of local community spirit.
We dined out back in the beautifully gardened patio area, a peaceful haven where pups are welcome and hoomans can unwind with a cuppa. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting – perfect for a slow breakfast.
The food? Generous, fresh, and packed with flavour. The eggs benedict in particular was a standout – beautifully cooked eggs, loaded with crispy bacon, and served in a portion that left no stomach grumbling. Classic country hospitality, done right.
Service was friendly and down-to-earth, and the new owners have created something really special. It’s the kind of café that makes you want to come back tomorrow. Highly recommend!
