🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective
Okay okay, I’ll say it upfront—no beach or pier access for us pups here (rude!).
BUT don’t let that put your tail between your legs. Scarness Park still has plenty to sniff and explore with its lovely long walkways, shady spots, and lots of new smells around every bend.

I stayed on my leash (begrudgingly), but there were heaps of other friendly puppers to say hello to and grassy areas to roll in.
Not a bad spot for a relaxed coastal cruise on four paws!
👤 Human Highlights
Scarness Park is ideal for a seaside stroll without venturing too far.
The long, flat walkway runs along the coast with gorgeous ocean views and easy access to cafes and shops along the Esplanade.

There are shady parks, heaps of seating, and a solid playground for the little ones to burn off some energy.
Whether you’re walking the doggo or sipping a coffee on a bench, it’s an easy, breezy Hervey Bay vibe. Just make sure you check which beach areas are doggo friendly.

Pro Tip
Grab a takeaway coffee from one of the nearby cafés and enjoy a relaxed walk with your pup along the Esplanade.
