Point Danger? More like Point Delight!
This place did NOT disappoint. We climbed up to the top (excellent sniffing opportunities along the way, might I add), and BAM—views for days. Big blue water, salty breeze, and plenty of spots to sit and take it all in like a very distinguished good boy.
I even kept my eyes peeled for sea creatures… and guess what? Whales! Real, actual whales splashing around in the distance. I considered offering a friendly bark hello, but the hoomans said something about “too far” and “please don’t embarrass us.”
Plenty of space to wander, lots of other hoomans and pups around, and overall just a top-tier lookout for adventuring doggos. Would absolutely return… preferably with snacks next time.

Point Danger Lookout offers a fantastic vantage point with sweeping views over the coastline, where Queensland meets New South Wales. The elevated position makes it perfect for soaking in uninterrupted ocean scenery and enjoying cool coastal breezes.
One of the standout moments was spotting a whale playing in the distance—an unexpected and memorable bonus that really elevated the experience.
It’s an easy-access location with walking paths, making it suitable for a quick stop or a relaxed stroll. While it can get a little busy given its popularity, the views more than justify it.

Visit during whale migration season and bring binoculars—you’ll dramatically increase your chances of spotting these incredible creatures.
