🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective
Now this is my kind of café! 🐶☕ The hoomans were happy, but I was thrilled… not only did I get prime shady real estate under the table and tress, but the lovely staff actually came out just to give me pats. Instant five paws. 👏🐾
I parked myself comfortably and kept a close eye on the beachgoers, tourists, and other pups trotting by. Honestly, it was a five-star dog-watching experience. There was enough space for a good stretch (gotta keep these legs limber) and it didn’t feel cramped at all.
No puppacino this time… but the hooman shared a crumb or two, so I’m not complaining. Melody’s, you’ve got a good thing going. I’ll be back – tail wagging and paws ready.

Melody’s is a gem of a café right near the buzz of Mooloolaba, but with just enough breathing space to relax.
The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, especially to four-legged guests – which always wins us over.
There’s plenty of shaded outdoor seating, making it perfect for dog owners to dine comfortably without being crammed onto a tiny footpath table. Service was efficient and friendly, and the daily specials offered great value.
What stood out was the diverse crowd who loved this place – retirees catching up over coffee, couples enjoying brunch, and young families wandering in from the beach.
It’s clearly a local favourite with broad appeal, and now it’s a Ralph-approved spot too.
