🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective

John Kyle Espresso is a paw-some spot for a Sunday morning outing, especially if you’re the social type like me.

There are always heaps of pups around (I suspect it’s because of the dog training across the road), which means plenty of wagging tails and new friends to sniff out.

The hoomans here have been thoughtful too, there are dog bowls scattered about, so you don’t have to pant for long before finding a refreshing drink.

From my spot by the table, I had front-row seats to the action. Passing traffic, people strolling by, dogs trotting along, it’s like a live theatre performance but with more tail-wagging.

If you like to be entertained while you lounge, this café gets a paws up from me for doggy people-watching.

👤 Human Highlights

John Kyle Espressor in Buderim is a buzzing little café that thrives on energy, chatter, and the hum of passing traffic, especially on a Sunday morning.

While the road can make things a bit noisy, the vibrant atmosphere is part of its charm.

The outdoor seating is great for soaking up the action, but keep in mind the tables aren’t the sturdiest for tethering your pup, best to bring your best-behaved companion (or keep a firm hand on the leash).

Inside, it’s strictly hooman-only, but outside offers a welcoming space to linger over coffee or brunch.

On weekends, especially Sundays, it becomes a hive of activity with dogs, families, and locals filling the air with life. It’s not the quietest café around, but if you’re after a lively spot with good coffee and lots of canine company, John Kyle hits the mark.

Pro Tip

Bring your best lead manners—outside tables aren’t ideal for tying up excitable pups.
