🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective

Talk about a big park. This place goes on forever — so many paths, corners, and highly important sniffing zones.

It’s not a dog park, so I stayed on lead the whole time, but honestly? Still a cracking adventure.

My favourite spot was near the lake, keeping a very close (and very professional) eye on the birds.

No incidents reported… yet. Plenty to see, plenty to smell, and enough space that I didn’t feel rushed anywhere.

Jells Park offers a huge, open green space ideal for picnics, wandering, and relaxed outdoor time.

There are well-maintained walking tracks, plenty of park benches, playgrounds for younger visitors, and an onsite café for coffee or snacks.

Its proximity to wetlands makes it especially appealing for birdwatching.

On our visit, the park was dotted with families and friends enjoying BBQs and casual get-togethers, creating a warm, community-focused atmosphere without feeling overcrowded.

Pro-Tip

Bring a long lead — it gives your pup a bit more freedom to explore while still staying within the rules.
