🐶 Ralph’s Pawspective
A place with mini golf, a lolly shop and an ice-cream shack all in one? My nose didn’t know where to start. So many smells. So many colours. So many humans walking past with cones I absolutely wasn’t allowed to sample (a tragedy, really).
My hoomans didn’t play the mini golf, but honestly, I was mesmerised anyway. Bright balls zipping around, bouncing off things, rolling into holes… I don’t get what golf is, but it looks like elite-level enrichment. If they ever invent a dog version, sign me up.
Then there’s the lolly shop and ice-cream shack.
While I wasn’t permitted to taste the goods (apparently sugar binges are “not ideal for pups”), I did get plenty of time to enjoy the sugary air. It’s like sniffing a rainbow. Also appreciated the water bowls placed around — very considerate for a thirsty explorer like me.
Inside access for pups? Big tail-wagging yes. Just had to stay on the lead, which is totally fair. Luna and I took our inspection duties very seriously.

👤 Human Highlights
This spot is one of those unexpected gems that delivers more than you expect. The staff are genuinely welcoming — the kind who greet you with a smile and don’t flinch when two pups trot in for a look around. Being able to bring the dogs inside the lolly shop and ice-cream shack earns immediate bonus points.
If you’re keen to load up on sweets or grab a cold treat, you’ll be spoiled for choice. From classic Aussie lollies to fun novelty picks, shelves are well-stocked and neatly presented. The ice-cream shack outside is perfect for warmer days, with plenty of shade and spots to pause while the pups sip from the water bowls.
The mini golf course adds another layer of fun. Even if you don’t play, the bright colours, quirky obstacles and general happy chaos give the place a holiday vibe. If you do decide to play, it’s light-hearted entertainment suitable for families, couples, and anyone wanting a bit of friendly competition before continuing their Lakes Entrance wander.
Having the dogs alongside is a major plus — it means you don’t have to skip the shop or take turns waiting outside. The only requirement is keeping them on lead, which keeps things safe and easy in the busy foot-traffic area.
For travellers exploring Lakes Entrance with their pups, this is an easy, cheerful stop that doesn’t take much time but adds plenty of fun to the day. Treats for humans, sniffs for dogs — everyone wins.

Pro Tip
If you’re grabbing ice cream on a warm day, find a shaded spot near the water bowls — the pups can hydrate while you enjoy your treat.
